If Touma's arm is ever severred, the dragons that lie within will be unleashed, and are powerful enough to overpower a Level 6 Shift Misaka Mikoto. Dragons - The truth of the Imagine Breaker is yet to be fully unravelled, but Touma has learned of the existence of mysterious dragons that grant the Imagine Breaker its' powers.This also prevents Touma from preventing any kind of unnatural healing, be it from magic or esper abilities. Hence, Touma has notoriously always had horrible luck his entire life. This has the downside, however, of also constantly removing "blessings from God", including luck. During a global soul-swap induced by a magic spell, Touma was completely untouched by the magic and remained intact. Bodily Protection - The Imagine Breaker passively protects Touma from various attacks that can target his entire being.Only upon touching the source will the Imagine Breaker dispel the attack. Finally, the Imagine Breaker can only nullify what it is immediately touching, and thus can be stalled if hit with a continuous energy source, like a magical flamethrower. For example, a high-speed energy blast will not blow Touma back on impact. While it offers no offensive capabilties of its' own, the Imagine Breaker ignores the force behind the things it cancels out. For instance, Touma can block a bolt of lightning by extending his palm, and can ignore the effects of others that bend reality, such as Accelerator's reflective shield. In short, the Imagine Breaker resides in Touma's right hand, and will instantly neutralize and dispel any unnatural energy or presence upon contact.
